Ryan S. Wheeler is an Air Force Veteran with over 21 years’ of local experience with roots to Shreveport, Bossier City and Barksdale Air Force Base going back to the early 1990’s. 

His father retired out of Barksdale AFB in 1995 allowing him to attend three I-20 Louisiana colleges: Bossier Parish Community College, University of Louisiana at Monroe and Louisiana Tech University.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from ULM, received his Air Force commission from Louisiana Tech and earned his Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Troy University, AL.

During his military career the service brought him back to Barksdale Air Force Base three separate times.  His other assignments include:  Whiteman AFB, MO; Goodfellow AFB, TX; Offutt AFB, NE and MacDill AFB, FL.  Each move meant finding a real estate agent to list his current home and then another to help him buy a new one at the next location.  This process became very familiar to him.  Having since bought many homes in the Shreveport/Bossier City area over the course of his career he knows the market, the people and the process better than most.  

Ryan’s interpersonal skills have been honed by his Air Force career which stresses Service, Integrity and Excellence.  Ryan brings that pride, energy and commitment with him.  He works hard to ensure each client receives the service they deserve.  He is professionally trained and skilled to serve each one with excellence and is specially attuned to the needs of those transitioning into the area.  Ryan specializes in helping home buyers and home sellers of local real estate in the Shreveport, Bossier, Benton and Haughton markets.
